Cloth Distribution
On the occasion of Eid Ul Fitr and Eid Ul Zuha, clothes were provided to needy and poor women from IIRT Kashmir.
Ramadan Food Distribution
During the month of Ramadan, the trust distributes food kits among the poor widows and women who are registered beneficiaries with us.
Marriage Assistance Program
Under this program, orphan and poor girls are provided assistance in kind for performing their marriages. During the year 2018, 62 girls were facilitated and assisted.
Emergency Relief
Our trust tries to provide emergency relief to fire victims at different places. The relief is given both in-kind and cash assistance or account payee cheques are provided to sufferers and victims of disasters.
Iftar Dinner
During the month of Ramadan at Darul Ehsan, an Iftar Party was arranged with orphan inmates and respectable citizens along with officials of trust to provide moral support to orphans. Awareness generation was mooted for moral values up-gradation and the importance of Zakat.
Radio Program
For highlighting the activities of the trust and for generating awareness among masses about certain social evils and moral values a radio program Pertow was broadcasted from Radio Kashmir Srinagar.
Annual Day Celebration
Annual day celebrations were held at Srinagar, at Lala Rukh Hotel wherein the annual report of the trust was released and scholarships were distributed among the poor and orphan students. The marriage kits were distributed on the occasion among the poor and orphan girls. The sewing machines were given to the deserving trained young girls for establishing their income-generating units. On the occasion the Trust presented annual awards to the following persons for rendering their best services in their respective fields.
Dr. Sir Mohammad Iqbal Educational Institution Singpora
Some years before the trust has established a school for poor & Orphan students up to 8th standard at Singpora Pattan in a rented building. To accommodate more students this year additional accommodation was arranged adjacent to an old building. In modern lines, education is provided to the students.
Qurbani Meat Distribution
On the eve of Eid-ul-Zuha Qurbani of sheep was arranged with the Financial Support of Islamic Guidance Centre Calicut Kerela and the meat was distributed among the registered beneficiaries of the trust and other poor persons of Society by the volunteers of trust.
Zakat Centre
To have a viable and effective Zakat System in the State trust has opened and established Zakat Centre at Head Office and through this centre awareness is generated for paying Zakat and Zakat is being collected and distributed through this center.
